Getting started
Two-step verification
Protect web sign-in with two-step verification in your vizsu account, and optional authenticator protection for mail apps.
For web sign-in
Two-step verification for webmail and the dashboard is part of your vizsu account. In webmail open Settings → Password & security and choose Open vizsu account to turn it on or change it. The methods offered are those of the vizsu account.
For email apps
Email apps can't show a verification prompt, so they use app passwords: long random passwords you can revoke one by one. That is the recommended protection for IMAP and SMTP.
If you still use the mailbox password in an app, you can also turn on Mail app protection in Settings → Password & security: the mail server then asks for a code from an authenticator app when an app signs in with the mailbox password.
- Choose to set up Mail app protection.
- Add the account to your authenticator app with the link or setup key (time-based, 6 digits).
- Enter the 6-digit code to turn it on. Set-up must be confirmed within 10 minutes.
